Mitigating Threats from Third Party Providers

Thurs 26th April 2018, 14:00 (BST)

Third Party Risk in Financial Services blog

While GDPR has high visibility, it’s not just GDPR that is driving an increased focus on the security controls and practices deployed throughout the data supply chain. In the emerging landscape, risk executives are under pressure to deliver and must closely consider the full extent of external parties’ influence on the protection of sensitive and critical data.

In this webinar Tom Garrubba of the Shared Assessments Program will discuss the broad themes of increasing regulation and scrutiny, both global and local, as we enter the GPDR era. Tom will also provide insight into the emerging best-practice methodologies and processes that are enabling risk executive to better understand, monitor and mitigate the risks posed by Third and Fourth Party suppliers, and beyond.
